not that kind of climax though
I’m performing my show Gimme a Sign! at Soho Playhouse this September, and I’ve been thinking a lot about the feedback I’ve received over the last two years on the show, wondering if there’s an opportunity to say something different this time.
In its first run, the show was meant to be a little tongue-and-cheek. I would talk about the different signs I felt I received from my dad’s ghost. But I’d often wink at the audience like was that a sign or was it just me wishing it was a sign?
I talked about the time that I felt my dad kept sending me the vision of a burning flame and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get to sleep.
